The American supermodel and John Legend’s wife, Chrissy Teigen was ecstatic after she received the highest social media honour by US President Joe Biden.
The 35-year-old supermodel took to her Twitter account, making a request to the newly-elected president to follow her back from the POTUS account after the former president, Donald Trump had blocked her in 2017.
The official @POTUS account on Twitter is currently following only 13 accounts. Teigen was the only celebrity on the list of people being followed by the POTUS account. The rest of the profiles are all accounts of government officials.
She had casually sent a tweet to Biden saying, “hello @joebiden I have been blocked by the president for four years can I get a follow plz.”

She had no idea that he would be quick to grant her wish and take action immediately.
After coming to know that she got a follow back, Teigen tweeted: “OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!! my heart oh my god lmao I can finally see the president’s tweets and they probably won’t be unhinged.”

The former president wasn’t too amused by the celebrity’s criticism and had blocked the model in retaliation.
