Popular brand Gucci has introduced ‘upside-down’ sunglasses for £470. However, people seem to be unhappy with this.
Netizens are mocking the brand for selling upside-down glasses as shoppers said they look like spectacles worn by snooker legend Dennis Taylor.
The Italian fashion house released its statement Inverted Cat Eye accessory earlier this week – and attempted to lure shoppers in with free delivery within a day.
The sunglasses were listed as being, “An unconventional take on the ’50s and ’60s inspired cat-eye frames, these sunglasses are presented with an inverted design that created an ‘upside down’ effect. “
“The frames and temples are created using multiple layers of black and white acetate. Enamelled floral details and a petite ‘Gucci’ logo further enrich the design.”
