PlayStation 5 was recently launched in November 2020 and Sony this year again stuck to the approach that made the previous generation PlayStation 4 successful by selling consoles.
Earlier, Sony launched the PlayStation 5 console to strong interest online but pick-ups were limited only to pre-orders due to the coronavirus pandemic that had driven a boom in gaming requests but limited real-world purchases.

Sony had made launch sales online only to maintain social distancing, calling for customers to “be safe, stay home, and place your order online”.
The next-generation console which resales for $500, or $400 without a disk-drive was sold out on major reselling sites in Japan with some leading draws to distribute limited stock.
However, after almost a month of its launch, the PlayStation 5 resale value has doubled than the original price. Not only PlayStation, the resale price of Xbox Series X and S, Nvidia’s RTX 3090, 3080, 3070, 3060 Ti graphics cards, AMD’s rival RX 6800, and 6800 XT GPUs will also blow your mind.
