Pakistan Customs Authorities seize drugs worth 80 million rupees

The smuggling of narcotics is seemingly increasing throughout the nation which is why the Pakistan Customs Authorities have to be alert and quick to respond to such attempts.

A raid was executed in Quetta near Noshki by the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC). They managed to get their hands on 8.8 kg of ICE and 5.040 kg of Brown Sugar worth Rs. 50 million.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) stated that “This unprecedented seizure of ICE by Customs Collectorate Quetta shows its commitment towards vision of prime Minister to eradicate smuggling of narcotics within and through Pakistan.”

In addition to that, Pakistan Customs Authorities stormed into a godown in Karachi’s industrial area near Moachku and seized 30,000 kg of unauthorized betel nuts. The stock that was captured is worth Rs. 30 million.
