The first Supermoon of 2025 illuminated the skies across Pakistan, according to SUPARCO.
The space agency reported that the moon is currently at a distance of 224,599 miles from Earth. Tonight’s supermoon appears 6.6% larger and 13% brighter than an average full moon.
SUPARCO added that the supermoon is visible near the planet Saturn, creating a stunning celestial view as the moon and Saturn appear close together in the sky.
The spectacular sight is being observed not only across Pakistan but also around the world.
According to SUPARCO, two more supermoons are expected this year—on November 5 and December 5.
