Cricket fever is set to grip the Gulf as the final squads for the ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 have been officially revealed. Hosted in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28, the tournament features eight teams battling for regional supremacy across two elite venues: Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
With the UAE unveiling their squad on Thursday, all eyes now turn to the opening clash between Afghanistan and Hong Kong on September 9, which will launch nearly three weeks of high-stakes cricketing drama.
Th tournament will take place from September 9 to September 28, 2025, featuring intense action and top-tier competition. Matches will be held at two world-class venues: the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. All games are scheduled to begin at 6 PM GST, except for the special fixture between UAE and Oman on September 15, which will start earlier at 4 PM GST.
The tournament will kick off with an exciting opening match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong on September 9, setting the tone for what promises to be a thrilling few weeks of cricket. The journey will culminate with the grand final on September 28, where the top two teams will battle it out for the title.
The tournament structure features a Group Stage, followed by a Super Four round, and finally the Final. Teams are divided into two groups (Group A and Group B), with the top performers from each group advancing to the Super Four, where they will compete for a spot in the final showdown.
