ISLAMABAD: Chief of Staff of Bahrain Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Theyab Saqr Abdullah Al Nuaimi, met Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, to discuss ways to strengthen defence cooperation between the two countries.
According to ISPR, both sides agreed to expand joint training, increase collaboration in multi-domain warfare, and further enhance bilateral military relations.
On arrival, the Bahraini Chief of Staff was presented with a guard of honour at Air Headquarters. He was later briefed about the Pakistan Air Force’s professional capabilities, operational readiness, and modern training system.
Air Chief Sidhu said that Pakistan and Bahrain share long-standing religious and historical ties that form the basis of strong military relations. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to widening cooperation in defence, training, and knowledge sharing.
Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi praised the professional skills, operational experience, and technical expertise of PAF personnel. He expressed Bahrain’s interest in joint training programs for its pilots and engineers and also showed a desire to learn from PAF’s experience in multi-domain warfare.
The meeting is seen as an important step toward taking Pakistan-Bahrain defence cooperation to new heights.
