The American newspaper Washington Times has called Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir the “Man of Steel,” recognizing his strong leadership and successful military diplomacy.
Under Asim Munir’s command, Pakistan has gained new respect on the world stage. After a historic victory in the “Battle of Haq”, international media and global institutions acknowledged Pakistan as a stable and balanced power.
China’s Foreign Ministry praised the Pakistan Army as the “pillar of national stability” and a guardian of Pak-China friendship. The Washington Post described Asim Munir’s recent US visit as “a new chapter in Pak-US relations,” while the Financial Times reported that former US President Donald Trump called him “a strategic mediator of the region.”
Pakistan’s diplomatic ties have also grown stronger with Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkiye, and other countries. Meanwhile, India has been left isolated on the diplomatic front.
One major milestone of Pakistan’s diplomacy was the US decision to declare the banned BLA a global terrorist organization, a move seen as a direct result of Asim Munir’s effective strategy. American leaders also praised Pakistan’s role in fighting terrorism.
With these developments, Pakistan is now emerging as a “net regional stabilizer,” and world powers are giving importance to both strategic and trade relations with Islamabad.
