On the other side Israeli army has confirmed that a soldier was killed in a friendly fire incident in southern Gaza.

According to the Israeli media outlet Haaretz, an initial investigation revealed that the soldier was fatally shot when another soldier at a guard post accidentally discharged his weapon toward a logistics convoy.

The soldier, identified as Ariel Lubliner, is the 900th Israeli military fatality since the war in Gaza began in October 2023, Haaretz reported.
