Iranian Minister terms Naqvi’s visit positive step for Pak-Iran ties

TEHRAN: Iranian Interior Minister Abbas Araghchi has welcomed the visit of his Pakistani counterpart, Mohsin Naqvi, to Tehran, calling it a positive development for the enhancement of bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries.

During a meeting held in Tehran, the two ministers discussed matters of mutual interest, including cooperation on security, border management, and strengthening diplomatic ties.

Minister Araghchi expressed confidence that Naqvi’s visit would play a constructive role in furthering Pakistan-Iran relations. “Undoubtedly, your visit will contribute significantly to the growth of bilateral ties,” he said.

The meeting marked a step forward in fostering mutual understanding and collaboration between the two nations amid growing regional challenges.

Speaking on the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that it is hoped that Pak -Iran and Iraq-trio -domestic conference will help solve the problems of visitors.

It should be noted that Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi will attend the three -nation conference on visitors and border issues today.
