ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has accused Indian proxies of being involved in recent terrorist incidents in Balochistan, reaffirming concerns about foreign interference in the province.
During his weekly press briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated that India continues to interfere in Balochistan’s internal affairs, and that such involvement has been observed in various terrorist incidents across the province. “Indian proxies are actively involved in destabilizing Balochistan,” she asserted.
He further said that Pakistan is consistently raising this issue at international forums, urging the global community to take notice of India’s actions.
Commenting on the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the spokesperson reiterated that human rights violations have been ongoing there for decades. “The people of Kashmir continue to suffer under oppressive measures, and their fundamental rights are being denied,” she added.
Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to exposing these violations and foreign interventions at every diplomatic platform.
The Foreign Office said that Pakistan’s position on terrorism was clear and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari did not make any contradictory statement.
He added that China is a close friend of Pakistan while our policy on Taiwan’s issue is not changed. Pakistan wants to join the BRICS countries.
