The Ministry of Religious Affairs extended the deadline for Hajj 2026 registration by two days on Wednesday. According to the ministry, people can now register until July 11 through designated banks and the Ministry’s online portal.
This decision was made because many people requested more time. So far, 313,000 people have successfully registered for Hajj 2026, a Ministry spokesperson said. The costs and other conditions for Hajj 2026 will be shared later according to the official Hajj policy.
Earlier on Tuesday, it was reported that only one day was left for mandatory Hajj 2026 registration. At that time, over 200,000 people had already registered.
The final date to submit forms was Wednesday, July 9. A ministry spokesperson explained that there is no registration fee and the process is happening at 15 designated banks across the country.
People can also register online from home. The ministry said registration is required and only those who apply on time will be eligible for Hajj. After registration, people can choose between the government or private Hajj schemes.
