Washington: US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce declined to officially comment on questions regarding Former Prime Minister and founder PTI.
She was asked whether the imprisonment of PTI’s founder is considered a domestic matter by the US and Pakistan.
Tammy Bruce responded to the journalist by saying that if they want to know the stance of the Trump administration on this, they should ask White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt.
It is noteworthy that on March 20, the U.S. State Department also avoided giving a direct response to questions regarding former Pakistani Prime Minister imprisonment.
A journalist had asked whether President Trump would take any action regarding Former Prime Minister’s imprisonment as a “popular leader with the majority of seats in Parliament.”
Without directly mentioning anything about Imran Khan, Tammy Bruce clearly stated that she would not comment on the internal framework of another country.
