LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Gujranwala Zone arrested highly wanted human smuggler of the Red Book and two agents involved in the Libyan boat tragedy 2023.
The accused have been identified as Mohammad Pervez and Imran Saber, the accused were arrested from different areas of Gujrat and Gujranwala. The name of the accused Pervez is on the list of the most wanted smugglers.
The arrested accused is the wanted human smuggler and Libyan boat tragedy. The accused is from Gujarat and his name included in several registered cases in Gujrat.
The FIA said the accused, who was found involved in illegally sending citizen to abroad, was arrested in a raid in Gujarat.
The FIA says the accused’s name has been on the list of the most wanted human smugglers of the Red Book since 2023. The accused was found to be involved in illegally human smuggling.
The FIA said 12 Pakistani passports were also recovered from the accused during the raid. The accused could not give a satisfactory response to the passport recovery. The accused has been arrested and the investigation has been launched.
The accused, Imran Saber, failed to send the citizen to Saudi Arabia despite taking Rs 4.1million from him. The suspects have been arrested and investigation has been started.
