Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Hafizabad and its surrounding areas in Punjab.

According to the seismological center, the tremors were also experienced in Sukhike Mandi, Kaleke Mandi, and Pindi Bhattian.

The earthquake tremors caused panic among residents of Hafizabad and surrounding areas, prompting them to rush out of their homes while reciting Kalma Tayyiba.

Earlier, earthquake tremors were felt in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and its surrounding areas, triggering panic among residents.

According to the National Seismological Center in Islamabad, the quake measured 4.1 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 15 kilometers. The tremors were strong enough to be noticed in nearby regions.

Fortunately, no significant loss of life or property has been reported. However, authorities remain vigilant and are assessing any potential damage.
