Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir issued a stern warning, stating that the armed forces are well aware of those playing a “double game” and are fully prepared to defeat them.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Munir made these remarks during his visit to Balochistan, where he was briefed on the province’s security situation. Senior security and intelligence officials were also present.
The Army Chief visited the Combined Military Hospital to check on the condition of injured personnel, praising their steadfast courage and commitment while serving.
Addressing troops, General Munir declared, “We are fully aware of those who play double games. The so-called friends who act as enemies will be defeated at all costs. We are prepared to pay any price for the defence of our motherland.”
The COAS reaffirmed the military’s determination, stating, “We will relentlessly pursue those who pose a threat whenever necessary. We are well aware of those facilitating foreign agendas.” He condemned individuals with “dual loyalties,” saying, “They swear allegiance to the crown but secretly collaborate with wrongdoers. Our armed forces will decisively tackle these disloyal elements.”
General Munir also emphasized the military’s commitment, stating, “We will hunt down and eliminate those working against the state. Ensuring the welfare and security of Balochistan’s people is our top priority.”
The ISPR also highlighted the Army Chief’s appreciation for the unwavering resolve of the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and other law enforcement agencies in upholding peace and stability in the region.
