Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has taken another revolutionary step towards modernizing traffic standards in Lahore.
Dedicated lanes are being allocated for cyclists and motorcyclists on Lahore’s roads to ensure their safety and reduce accidents.
Bike lanes will be constructed on all major roads in Lahore in a phased manner. In the first phase, construction of a biker lane from Canal Road to Lahore Bridge on Ferozepur Road is underway.
Additionally, a 10-kilometer-long biker lane is being designed in a beautiful green color. This modern global concept of biker lanes is expected to reduce accidents and improve traffic flow.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed authorities to ensure the highest construction standards for the biker lanes.
