A delegation from the Christian community, led by former federal minister Kamran Michael, visited the NADRA Headquarters in Islamabad on Friday to discuss enhancing the registration process for the Christian community and addressing challenges related to obtaining identity documents.
During a meeting with NADRA Chairman Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar, Kamran Michael highlighted the need to increase the frequency of NADRA’s Mobile Registration Van (MRV) services in areas with high Christian populations.
The NADRA Chairman briefed the delegation on ongoing special registration campaigns for minority communities, including MRV operations. He assured the delegation of NADRA’s commitment to improving registration services for minority individuals, including scaling up MRV visits to areas with greater demand.
The delegation expressed their appreciation for NADRA’s MRV efforts, acknowledging the significant impact these services have had in improving access to NADRA facilities for the Christian community.
