Oppo is preparing to launch its flagship Ultra smartphone, the Find X8 Ultra, expected to release in 2025. The device will feature a similar design to the already available Find X8 Pro, with a few modifications, including a thicker camera island. The phone will have a large, round camera setup and a sleek metal frame with chamfered transitions.
The Find X8 Ultra will sport a 6.82-inch “2K” OLED screen made by BOE, featuring quad-curves with equal depth on all sides for a modern look. The main camera will use a 1-inch sensor, along with two periscope telephoto cameras, similar to the Find X7 Ultra, offering impressive zoom capabilities.
In addition to the Ultra model, Oppo will introduce the Find X8 Mini, continuing its strategy of launching multiple variants, similar to vivo’s approach with the X200 Pro mini.
The Find N5 foldable smartphone will also be released, followed by the Find X8S series, powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC.
These phones are expected to be officially unveiled in China in the first half of 2025. The Find N5 may be available internationally as the OnePlus Open 2, though its global release could be delayed until the second half of the year. However, the Find X8 Ultra is rumored to be exclusive to China.
Oppo’s ambitious lineup for 2025 promises to bring cutting-edge technology to the smartphone market.
