Google Pixel 9a specs

Google’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 9a, has been leaked once again, and this time, the full spec sheet has surfaced. According to reports from a wireless carrier and a second source, the Pixel 9a will pack some impressive features.

The phone will be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset, just like the Pixel 9 series, and come with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Its 6.285-inch display boasts a 1080×2424 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,700-nit peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Pixel 9a features a 48 MP main camera with the Samsung ISOCELL GN8 sensor and a 13 MP ultrawide Sony IMX712 sensor for photography. The same Sony sensor is used for the selfie camera.

Battery life looks promising with a 5,100mAh battery that supports 23W wired and 7.5W wireless charging. The Pixel 9a is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance, measures 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9 mm, and weighs 185.9g.

Despite being slightly taller and wider than its predecessor, it’s lighter and offers a 13% larger battery. The Pixel 9a will launch in four colors: Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony.

The pricing starts at $499 for the 128GB version, while Verizon’s mmWave 5G model will cost $549. The phone will ship with Android 15 and promises seven years of OS and security updates.

Set to debut in March, the Pixel 9a is shaping up to be a strong contender in the mid-range market.
