Pakistan kicked off their three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe with a toss win, opting to bat first in the opening game at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, on Sunday.
The Men in Green, led by Salman Ali Agha, have unveiled a youthful playing XI. Key players include Saim Ayub, Omair Bin Yousuf, Usman Khan, Tayyab Tahir, Muhammad Irfan Khan, and Jahandad Khan. The bowling lineup features Muhammad Abbas Afridi, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed, and Sufyan Moqim.
The visitors enter the series on the back of a morale-boosting victory, having defeated Zimbabwe by 99 runs in the third ODI on Thursday to secure a 2-1 series win.
Zimbabwe, however, boasts strong momentum, remaining unbeaten in their last five T20 matches during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Africa Qualifier. The series promises a fierce contest as both sides aim to assert their dominance in the shortest format of the game.
