Tragic news emerged today as Emilia Torello, fiancée of Paul Teal, confirmed his death at the age of 35 on social media. Paul, known for his role as Josh Avery in season 7 of *One Tree Hill*, passed away, leaving fans and loved ones in mourning.
In her post, Emilia did not disclose the cause of Paul Teal’s death. However, she reportedly told TMZ that doctors diagnosed him with stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer in April. Seven months later, the actor passed away at a hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Emilia shared a heartfelt post on Instagram featuring a black-and-white photo of herself and the late Paul Teal. In the image, she kisses his cheek while he smiles at the camera. In the caption, Emilia revealed that he passed away on Friday, November 15.
Emilia called him, “The most loving, self-disciplined, driven, inspirational, and thoughtful,” person. She said that he was her “soulmate, my soon-to-be husband, my rock, and my future.”

Emilia shared that Paul Teal filled her life with laughter, butterflies in her stomach, and love in her heart. She expressed her heartbreak over losing him too soon and praised his courageous fight until the end.
Emilia revealed that while a part of her died with Paul, she promised to fight just as hard to find happiness in life as he fought to live each day.
At the end of the post’s caption, Emilia added, “The world is lucky to have even had a moment with Paul Teal, and I am the luckiest person in it because I got to call you mine. I will love you forever.”

Teal’s death has shocked many, including his colleagues. Bethany Joy Lenz, his “One Tree Hill” co-star and director, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, remembering her late co-star.
The actress said that he was someone who, without even trying, “lit up a room.” She talked about her heart being heavy and said that the late performer was “shy, funny, and incredibly comfortable on stage.”
Lenz expressed that Paul was too young to pass away and described his time here as a “summer romance” for everyone who knew him.
