Actor Alia Bhatt recently criticized media reports claiming she had a botched Botox procedure. In an Instagram Stories post, she expressed her frustration over a “random video” and clickbait articles suggesting she had undergone cosmetic procedures.
Alia stated, “To the random video floating around literally claiming I’ve had Botox gone wrong… this is your hypercritical, microscopic judgment of a human face.” She emphasized that these claims were serious and made without evidence, stating, “These are SERIOUS claims being casually thrown out there with zero proof.”
She highlighted the issue of body-shaming, saying women are often judged for their bodies and pregnancies. “We should be celebrating individuality, not tearing it apart under a microscope,” she wrote. Alia lamented that much of this judgment comes from other women, calling it “normalized.”
Though she has previously addressed body shaming, Alia rarely responds to criticism so openly. She was last seen in the film Jigra, which received mixed reviews but struggled at the box office.
