Ahsan Zafar calls for citizen action against dengue in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Member of the Central Core Committee UBG and former President of ICCI, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, has emphasized that every citizen must take responsibility for the eradication of dengue in Islamabad.

He stated that public cooperation is essential for the success of government efforts to control dengue. By understanding the causes of dengue and adopting preventive measures, we can protect ourselves from this deadly disease.

Under the “Clean and Green Islamabad” mission, we are striving to safeguard the citizens from dengue by conducting dengue sprays and providing awareness in the business centers of every sector in Islamabad. He urged the residents of Islamabad to step forward, take responsibility, and play an active role in this campaign to eliminate dengue.

He expressed these views during a conversation with the President of Jinnah Super Market, Asad Aziz; General Secretary of Jinnah Super Market and Senior Vice President ICCI, Abdul Rehman Siddiqui; Vice President of Jinnah Super Market, Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad; Coordination Secretary of Jinnah Super Market, Usman, and other representatives of traders’ delegations while carrying out dengue spray and distributing awareness pamphlets during a dengue awareness campaign at Jinnah Super Market.

President of Jinnah Super Market, Asad Aziz, expressed his gratitude to Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari for taking the initiative to combat dengue in Islamabad. He praised Bakhtawari for launching the spray and awareness campaign across the city and assured him that the business community stands by his side and will provide full cooperation in this mission.

General Secretary of Jinnah Super Market, Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, remarked that government efforts and public cooperation are equally important for the elimination of dengue. If we all collectively maintain cleanliness and adopt preventive measures, not only can we protect ourselves and our loved ones, but it is also possible to completely eradicate the deadly dengue virus.
