Here’s how to get Dubai’s newest golden visa

Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has announced the introduction of a golden visa for teachers.

This announcement was made on October 5th, coinciding with International Teachers Day, and was delivered by Sheikh Hamdan, who also serves as the Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.

The decision to modify the visa regulations came on the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The new visa will be available to exceptional teachers who have made significant contributions to Dubai’s private education sector and have demonstrated outstanding performance.

Holders of these golden visas will have the opportunity to reside in Dubai and the UAE with security and stability, eliminating the need to undergo the often challenging and lengthy application process every few years.

“Teachers are a source of inspiration for today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders, and their contributions support Dubai’s development, reaffirming its commitment to investing in human capital,” Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said.
