Hezbollah rockets hit Israel’s Haifa and Tiberias, 10 injured

Hezbollah rockets struck Haifa, Israel’s third-largest city, early Monday, according to Israeli police, with local media reporting that 10 people were injured in northern Israel.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for targeting a military base south of Haifa using “Fadi 1” missiles. Reports indicated that two rockets hit Haifa on the Mediterranean coast, while five others landed in Tiberias, approximately 65 km (40 miles) away.

Police confirmed damage to several buildings and properties, with multiple minor injuries reported. Some individuals were transported to a nearby hospital.

Surveillance footage captured the moment a Hezbollah rocket struck Haifa. Israel’s military launched airstrikes on Hezbollah’s Intelligence Headquarters in Beirut, targeting intelligence assets, command centers, and other infrastructure.

The strikes also hit weapons storage sites in Beirut, causing secondary explosions, indicating the presence of armaments.

Additional airstrikes were carried out in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa region, targeting Hezbollah command centers, weapons depots, infrastructure, and a missile launcher. The Israeli military accused Hezbollah of hiding its military assets beneath residential buildings in Beirut, thereby putting civilians at risk.
