As September draws to a close, Infinix has introduced a 4G variant of the Hot 50, following the announcement of its 5G counterpart earlier in the month. While the design remains unchanged, several specifications have been modified in the new model.

Display Features:

The Infinix Hot 50 4G boasts a 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel, similar to the 5G model, but with an upgraded resolution from 720p to 1080p. The display maintains a 120Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of 800 nits. The always-on display feature is still available, and the fingerprint sensor is conveniently located on the side.

Internals and Software:

This model replaces the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with the Dimensity 6100, featuring a slightly lower clock speed on the Cortex A76 CPU. The Mali-G57 MC2 GPU remains unchanged. The device offers memory options of 6GB or 8GB RAM, along with storage capacities of 128GB or 256GB, and includes a memory card slot. It operates on XOS 14.5, based on Android 14.

Camera:

The Hot 50 4G comes equipped with a new 50MP camera sensor, which, although smaller than its 5G counterpart, features a brighter f/1.6 lens. It is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor, capable of recording videos at 2K 30 FPS and 1080p 60 FPS. For selfies, there is an 8MP front-facing camera.

Battery and Pricing:

The battery specifications remain consistent, housing a 5,000 mAh cell with 18W wired charging, reverse wired charging, and bypass charging support. The Infinix Hot 50 4G starts at a price of $165 and is available in three colors: Sleek Black, Sage Green, and Titanium Gray.
