Islamabad, Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulations letter to Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on his birthday.
The letter sent by the Chinese President is an exceptional effort towards strengthening Pakistan-China diplomatic relations.
In addition to birthday greetings, the Chinese President highlighted the strong friendship between Pakistan and China in the letter, stating that both countries are partners in strategic cooperation through hard times and good times.
The letter further reads that history bears testimony that the two countries always trusted and supported each other, creating a strong bond that has remained unaffected by the changing international scenario.
Mr. Xi Jinping wrote in the letter that in June of this year, President Shehbaz Sharif made a successful visit to China in which they had pleasant talks and shared common grounds on many issues.
Mr. Xi Jinping stated in his letter that China-Pakistan relations hold utmost importance for him and he is willing to work with Pakistan to promote China-Pakistan strategic cooperation and build CPEC.
The Chinese President further wrote in the letter that he is also inclined to cooperate with Pakistan in various fields and work for a common future through deep ties between the people of China and Pakistan in this modern era. At the end of the letter, the Chinese President wished Mr. Shehaz Sharif good health and success in every step.
