Bollywood singer Kumar Sanu, celebrated for his many hits, has recently addressed a false claim about him performing for Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan. In a detailed Instagram post, Sanu clarified that he has never sung a song for Khan. He shared a screenshot of a news article that debunked the rumor and confirmed that the song circulating on social media was not his.

“I want to clarify that I have never sung any song for the former Prime Minister of Pakistan,” Sanu stated. He explained that the audio people are hearing on Facebook was actually created using AI technology, not by him. “The news (song) is fake; it is a lie,” he added, stressing that this misinformation is an attempt to tarnish his reputation.

Sanu also called on the Government of India to take immediate action against the misuse of AI and other fake technologies. The issue began on July 26 when a video surfaced on Facebook suggesting that Sanu had performed a song at an event for Imran Khan. Sanu’s response aims to clear up the confusion and address the spread of misleading content online.
