On Monday, the website of K-Electric, a power distribution company, was hacked and still could not be restored.
As per reports, after K-Electric’s billing system was attacked and became non-functional, it could not issue electricity bills to its consumers.
K-Electric spokesperson said that the company had filed a complaint with the FIA. According to the spokesperson, the hackers had asked the K-Electric to contact them through the dark web.
Earlier on September 7, hackers attacked K-Electric’s IT system and suspended its internal and communication with banks.
