NICOP fee for Kuwait in PKR

Pakistani citizens planning to work in Kuwait need to obtain a National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) from the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). The NICOP offers several benefits for its holders:

  • Visa-Free Entry: Travel to Pakistan on a foreign passport without needing a visa.
  • Protection of Rights: Enjoy the same rights as other Pakistani citizens.
  • Full Recognition: Recognized as a regular Pakistani citizen.
  • Banking Access: Open a bank account in Pakistan.
  • Passport Application: Apply for a Machine Readable Passport (MRP).

NICOP can be applied for by any Pakistani citizen, including those with dual nationality. For newborns born abroad, a passport number is required when applying for NICOP.

How to Apply for NICOP

There are two ways to apply for NICOP:

  1. NADRA Registration Center (NRC):
    • Visit the nearest NADRA Registration Center.
    • Obtain a token upon arrival.
    • Your photograph, fingerprints, and signature will be captured.
    • Your data will be entered, and a printed form will be reviewed.
    • You will receive a printed version of your application form.
  2. Pak Identity Website:
    • Apply online through the Pak Identity website.
    • Your NICOP will be delivered to your doorstep.

New NICOP Fee for Kuwait in Pakistan for August 2024

As of August 2024, the fees for obtaining a NICOP for Kuwait are as follows:

  • In Pakistan:
    • Normal Fee: Rs 5,820
    • Urgent Fee: Rs 8,730
    • Executive Fee: Rs 11,640
  • Online:
    • Normal Fee: $20
    • Urgent Fee: $30
    • Executive Fee: $40
