The extension was made to protect the safety and well-being of students and staff due to the ongoing adverse weather.
In Sindh, the provincial government usually closes schools during the summer when temperatures often surpass 40°C. Such high temperatures can be dangerous for children, leading to heat-related illnesses like heatstroke and dehydration.

Extreme weather conditions can also affect students’ ability to concentrate and learn effectively, especially in schools lacking proper cooling systems.
Closing schools during this period helps prevent heat-related illnesses and follows traditional practices, allowing families to spend time together. This measure ensures the health and safety of students and staff while providing a needed break in the academic calendar.
