On Monday, Britain’s new Prime Minister Keir Starmer promised to secure a better deal with the European Union on post-Brexit trading rules than the “botched deal” negotiated by former Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
“We think we can get a better deal than the botched deal that Boris Johnson bought home and we will work on that,” Starmer told journalists in Belfast as part of a tour of the four nations of the United Kingdom.
