KARACHI: An organization called Al-Fajr has claimed the responsibility of killing Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ali Raza posted in the Counter-Terrorism Department.
Al-Fajr, a terrorist organization, claimed responsibility for the killing of DSP Ali Raza in a statement issued from an unknown location.
Earlier, this organization had also claimed responsibility for the killing of a policeman in Sohrab Goth.

Earlier,Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Ali Raza was martyred in a gun attack near Karachi’s Karimabad area.
Unknown assailants opened fire on DSP Raza, who was serving as the DSP CTD Investigation, resulting in serious injuries. He was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Following the incident, the Sindh Home Minister requested a report from the Deputy Inspector-General (DIG) CTD and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central.
The Minister also ordered immediate action to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
Shaheed DSP Ali Raza was a close associate of former SSP Shaheed Chaudhry Aslam. He was also in charge of CTD cell several times.
