The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Pakistan has increased the attestation fees for legal documents starting July 8, 2024, adding to the financial burden on citizens.

MOFA Documents Attestation New Charges

Online System and Liaison Offices

The Foreign Office spokesperson announced that from July 8, 2024, the Ministry has resumed attestation for educational documents, legal papers, and commercial documents. Pakistanis can now use the MOFA online system for attestation, and liaison offices in Lahore and Karachi are also available.

No prior appointments are required.

To streamline the process, MOFA has removed the need for prior appointments for document attestation. This change aims to make it easier and quicker for citizens to get their documents attested.

Validity of the Attestation
