ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad court acquitted all the accused including the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder in the case filed in Abpara police station.
Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mehmood of the District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad delivered the reserved verdict.
Arguments were made by Sardar Masroof Advocate and Ansar Kayyani on behalf of founder PTI Imran Khan, Sheikh Rasheed and others, after which the court reserved judgment in the case.
The court acquitted Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rasheed, Asad Qaiser and others from the case filed in Abpara police station.
A case was filed against the founder PTI, including others, on protest against the Election Commission of Pakistan’s decision.

Earlier, The United Nations(UN) Human Rights Working Group has termed the decision to detain Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf founder Imran Khan as arbitrary and against international law.
The legal opinion of the UN Working Group has come out on the petition filed in the United Nations by the eminent law firm of Zulfi Bukhari against the arrest of founder PTI Imran Khan, in which the immediate release of Imran Khan has demanded.
