- TPP leader Nasrallah was arrested.
- He revealed TTP’s financial support from RAW.
- His arrest is a significant setback.
QUETTA: In a significant operation, intelligence and law enforcement agencies have apprehended Nasrallah, also known as Maulvi Mansoor, the leader of the proscribed organization TTP.
During interrogation, Nasrallah disclosed his involvement in subversive activities under Baitullah Mehsud’s guidance and his subsequent escape to Afghanistan during Operation Zarb Azb.
Nasrallah admitted to orchestrating attacks against Pakistan Army positions and overseeing military, financial, and administrative matters within the TTP. He revealed the group’s intentions to form alliances with other militant organizations and establish terror bases in Balochistan.
Further, Nasrallah exposed the TTP’s financial backing from RAW and its collaboration with the BLA, including meetings between TTP leader Noor Wali Mehsud and BLA Commander Bashir Zeb. He confirmed that the TTP leadership, including the BLA Majeed Brigade’s Bashir Zeb, operates from Afghanistan with the tacit support of the interim Afghan government.
Nasrallah also mentioned that key positions within the TTP are held by individuals from the Mehsud tribe and that many missing persons are located in Afghanistan. He urged local tribes to recognize the reality of the situation and the TTP’s exploitation of non-Mehsud members. Nasrallah’s capture is a blow to anti-Pakistan terrorist activities in the region.
