PMD predict Heavy rain in Karachi from June 26

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted strong winds and thunderstorms with rain starting tomorrow through July 1.

Areas including Karachi, Hyderabad, Matiari, Sanghar, Badin, and other districts are expected to experience intermittent heavy rainfall, with some regions seeing intense showers.

The PMD stated that the intensity of the heat is expected to decrease starting tomorrow.

According to the PMD, the weather in Karachi has begun changing rapidly. The department has issued a new advisory predicting rainfall on June 26.

The PMD also forecasted rainfall in Karachi and other Sindh cities tomorrow.

Rain, wind, and thundershowers are expected in Lasbella, Khuzdar, Awaran, Jhal Magsi, Kalat, Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Zhob, and Barkhan from June 26 to June 28 in Balochistan.

Rain, wind, and thunderstorms are anticipated in Gilgit-Baltistan (Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, Shigar) and Kashmir (Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, Mirpur) from June 28 to July 1 with occasional gaps.

Islamabad, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Okara, Kasur, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, and Mianwali may experience rain or thundershowers from June 27.
