DUBAI – The National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) is the authorized body for issuing the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) to Pakistani citizens residing abroad who hold dual nationality with a country that has such an arrangement with Pakistan.
It is essential for Pakistani citizens to obtain the NICOP to qualify for the assistance provided by Pakistani embassies overseas. Without it, they may be denied this support.
Overseas Pakistanis living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can renew their NICOPs by visiting the Consulate General in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. They can also apply for a NICOP if it has been stolen or lost.
Required Documents in Case of Lost
Applicants, who lost their NICOP, will be required to bring copy/number of the old NICOP.
NICOP Lost Fee for Pakistanis in Dubai
The normal fee for the NICOP renewal in case of lost stands at AED 75 while urgent fee is AED 110 and Executive fee AED 150.
