RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has once again refused to answer questions from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), which is investigating ‘controversial’ social media posts from his official X (Twitter) account.

Sources report that an FIA team visited Adiala jail to interrogate Imran Khan regarding an alleged controversial post on his X account.

However, Imran Khan declined to respond to any questions in the absence of his legal team. The FIA requested a written confirmation of his refusal before leaving the prison.

Previously, on May 31, Imran Khan similarly refused to answer FIA inquiries. The FIA Cybercrime Cell had written to authorities seeking permission to question the incarcerated PTI founder about a ‘controversial’ post from his social media account.

According to the letter, the post disseminated anti-state propaganda targeting institutions, particularly the Pakistan Army, and aimed to distort facts, incite rebellion among officers and soldiers, and create unrest within various state institutions.

The FIA Cybercrime Cell stated that this video is a clear violation of the PICA Act 2016 and sought access to Imran Khan in jail for further investigation.
