In a recent press conference held in Peshawar, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, addressed the ongoing political dynamics with the federal government. He emphatically stated that the provincial government would not permit the federal authorities to assume the role of a political martyr.
Mr. Gandapur expressed concerns regarding the federal government’s performance, highlighting the inability to finalize the budget, which he views as a critical issue. He reiterated the provincial government’s stance against any reduction in the province’s projects and drew attention to the significant increase in electricity tariffs, questioning the allocation of the revenue generated from this hike.
Furthermore, Mr. Gandapur commented on the status of the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, asserting his disassociation from any individuals involved in corrupt practices.
Concluding his statement, the Chief Minister dismissed the ongoing cases as baseless and reaffirmed his previous position regarding the cipher, indicating that their initial assertions have been validated.
