LAHORE: The price of broiler chicken remains unstable as the official rate of meat has risen by 14 rupees.

Currently, the official price of broiler chicken stands at 477 rupees per kg. Wholesale rates for live broiler chicken are set at 317 rupees per kg, with retail prices fixed at 329 rupees per kg.

Additionally, farm eggs are priced at 262 rupees per dozen, while the official wholesale rate for egg cartons is set at 7740 rupees.

These fluctuations in prices indicate ongoing challenges in the poultry industry, impacting both producers and consumers alike.
