Flagship-Caliber Chip Confirmed for Poco F6

The Poco F6 series is scheduled to make its debut in India next week, featuring the launch event tagline “God Mode On.” Teasers have confirmed that the Poco F6 will boast the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, marking it as the first phone in India to do so.

The design of the Poco F6 closely resembles that of the Redmi Turbo 3, recently introduced in China. Both phones share the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, leading to speculation that the Poco F6 may simply be a global variant of the Redmi Turbo 3.

Should the Poco F6 be a rebranded device, it is anticipated to sport a 50MP (LYT-600) primary camera with OIS, accompanied by a single 8MP ultrawide shooter. Display specifications include a 6.67-inch OLED panel with 1220p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to feature a 5,000 mAh battery with support for rapid 90W charging.

While the Chinese version offers memory options ranging from 12GB to 16GB of RAM and storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB, variations may occur in the global variant. The storage will likely be of the UFS 4.0 type, with LPDDR5X RAM.

Official confirmation of all specifications is anticipated during the launch event in India on May 23. The Poco F6 will be accompanied by the Poco F6 Pro, speculated to be a rebrand of another device, possibly the Redmi K70 powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
