Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that Karachi’s transport department will launch an automated fare collection system today.
“The automated fare system will allow the passengers to pay the fares through their smart card,” the minister stated.
He stated that the government’s main focus is to offer the public as many amenities as it can. Memon recently revealed that a fresh set of buses has been delivered to Karachi for the People’s Bus Service.
In a social media update on platform X, he announced that the Sindh government’s Transport Department will soon initiate additional routes. “Our focus is only on delivery and giving maximum relief to people of the province,” he added.
Recently, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared the allocation of 150 buses, half of the total, to Sindh during his trip to Karachi.
