Gold prices in Pakistan surged to a new record high on Wednesday, driven by turmoil in the Middle East.
The price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs2,200 per tola and Rs1,887 per 10 grams, reaching Rs251,900 and Rs215,964, respectively.
Additionally, the price of 22-karat gold surged to Rs197,967 for 10 grams.
Internationally, the price of gold saw a $21 increase, bringing the new rate to $2,388 per ounce.
