Former captain of the Pakistan cricket team Sarfaraz Ahmed has lauded Mohammad Rizwan as the best wicketkeeper-batsman.

When asked about choosing the better wicketkeeper-batsman between himself and Rizwan during a local sports show, he gave his opinion in the favor of the right-handed batter.

“Mohammed Rizwan has improved over time the way he is playing and he is getting better so I think he is the best wicket-keeper batsman at the moment,” he said.

Sarfaraz Ahmed then claimed that giving a player constant opportunities gives him confidence which ultimately leads to better performance. “When I was playing, the performance was almost the same,” he said. “When you play consistently, your confidence grows and as I have said before in international cricket, the more you play, the better you get.” will

The former captain said that the way Rizwan is playing and constantly getting opportunities, his confidence is growing and he is getting better and better.
