To improve passport services during Eid holidays, the Director General of Immigration and Passport, Mr. Mustafa Jamal Kazi, has ordered special measures. Passport delivery counters at regional offices will stay open from April 10th to 14th, from 9 AM to 1 PM.
This comes after the government raised Machine Readable Passport fees. People have faced delays in getting passports due to issues like a shortage of lamination paper.
Hajj flights will start in May, with training for pilgrims beginning on April 15th. The Ministry of Religious Affairs will conduct training sessions across the country to educate pilgrims about Hajj rituals and administrative matters, aiming for a smooth and disciplined pilgrimage experience.
