In preparation for the influx of travelers this Eid Al Fitr, Dubai’s flagship carrier Emirates announced on Thursday that it is expanding its schedules across the region with 19 additional flights.

Emirates expects more than 150,000 people to fly during Eid Al Fitr across the region — and to meet the demand, it is planning more trips to Jeddah, Kuwait, Beirut, and Amman.

From April 7 to 13, Emirates will increase its flight frequency to Jeddah by seven additional flights. This expansion will enable passengers to explore destinations such as London and the Maldives or visit family and friends in Colombo and Karachi.

Emirates will be adding six extra flights between April 7 and 20 in Kuwait to cater to significant travel demand to popular leisure gateways like Dubai, Bangkok, and Osaka. Additionally, this will provide the opportunity for travelers to head home to Chennai, Hyderabad, Sialkot, and Peshawar.

Starting May 2, Emirates will expand its flight schedule to Bahrain to 22 weekly flights to meet increased demand for travel to and from the kingdom. Additionally, the airline will add four additional flights to Amman and two additional flights to Beirut to accommodate more travelers as families come together to celebrate after the holy month.
