Lahore and parts of Punjab are expected to experience more rain, wind, and thunderstorms on Wednesday night, Thursday, and Friday.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), there is a shallow westerly wave prevailing over Pakistan’s western and upper regions.

Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, and Mianwali are expected to experience rain, wind, and thunderstorms on Wednesday night due to the prevailing conditions. Additionally, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Layyah, and Bahawalpur may also experience light rain, wind, and thunderstorms.

On Thursday and Friday, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, Pakpattan, Sahiwal, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar are expected to experience rain, wind, and thunderstorms. Additionally, Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, and Mianwali may also experience light rain, wind, and thunderstorms during this period.

Moderate to heavy rainfall in Galyat may lead to landslides, while windstorms, hailstorms, and lightning could cause damage to crops, electric poles, vehicles, and solar panels. Tourists and farmers are advised to exercise caution during this period. Additionally, temperatures are expected to decrease during the wet spell.

On Thursday and Friday, Lahore is expected to have maximum temperatures ranging between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius.
