On March 4, 2024, Victor Dotsenko, a 43-year-old Canadian, tragically lost his life along with his wife and three kids in a plane crash. They were flying in a single-engine aircraft piloted by Victor, who had obtained his pilot’s license from Brampton Flight Centre two years prior.
According to investigators, audio recordings suggest that Victor may have overshot the intended runway by several miles and attempted to make a U-turn before the crash occurred. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the plane burst into flames upon impact with the ground.
The crash took place near John C. Tune Airport in Nashville, Tennessee, although it was still a considerable distance away from the airport. The emergency services responded swiftly, but sadly, they were unable to save any members of the Dotsenko family.
Following the tragic accident, Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell expressed condolences to the Dotsenko family and paid tribute to their memory.
Victor Dotsenko was born in Ontario, Canada, in 1980 and grew up in Vaughan. He ventured into the house insulation business in 1998 and ran two successful companies, PearlHomes and AerosealTech.
Victor had a happy family life, being married to Rimma Dotsenko, whom he met during his college days. They lived together with their three children, David, Emma, and Adam, in Ontario.
